Lone Star Jewelers of New Hampshire
Since 1999, I have been the only Graduate Gemologist recognized by The Gemological Institute of America in the Washington Valley. In addition, I am also recognized and have been called upon as an expert witness by the courts.
My passion for stones began while I was studying mineralogy in college. I spent a year learning about colored stones and diamonds, both in a laboratory setting and in the field. In 1999 I became a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America.
I spent the next 15 years in the jewelry industry as a store manager and jewelry appraiser. I learned all the facets of the industry, buying, selling, designing and repairing jewelry.
Four years later I opened my own store, LONE STAR JEWELERS, 38 Main Street, Conway, New Hampshire. Customer satisfaction is my priority, whether it's a personal hello, an appraisal, or selling a two carat diamond. My store features many items including Chamilia, Ed Levin, estate jewelry, and the work of local artisans. I have a personal consultant for design who has over 40 years of experience as a bench jeweler.
Jewelry appraisals are my forte. The price of gold, diamonds, other precious metals and stones have increased dramatically. In today's market, your jewelry appraisals should be up-dated. Some insurance companies recommend every five years.
You want to be sure that you are protected. My appraisal services are available both in the store and in the comfort of your home. Lynne MacDonald GIA, AGS affiliate.
